About Janice Reed, NP-C

Janice came to Medical Associates of North Georgia in 2013, as a native of Cherokee County and a Cherokee County High School graduate. She is an enthusiastic and compassionate certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a superb academic background, graduated Cum Laude with her BSN and was named Student of the Year of her MSN class, with more than seventeen years experience ensuring high standards of culturally competent care for a wide variety of patients with diverse need in the medical field. Janice is a friendly, professional individual who upholds a strong clinical judgment always seeking ways to aid her patients. Her services include women’s health in addition to preventative care and chronic disease management; Diabetes and Hypertension.

Janice is fortunate to have completed all of her education and training in her home state of Georgia where her profession never stops growing. While completing her Master’s Degree of Science in Nursing, she worked as a Registered Nurse at North Fulton Hospital in various positions including Charge Nurse, Neuro-Trauma ICU Nurse, Stroke Coordinator, Clinical Care Educator, and as a Rapid Response Nurse.

Janice is passionate about healthy living, education, and caring for others, but improving the lives of patients is one of the cores of why she became a certified Family Nurse Practitioner. Her joy is caring for patients, and the trust that develops with that relationship. Her patients fulfill her, and she helps them with the care they deserve.

She diagnoses and treats patients of 5 years of age and older.

Janice sees patients at our Ball Ground office.
