Virgil Figueroa is an extensively trained nurse practitioner who has been with Medical Associates of North Georgia since 2005. He brings over two decades of experience serving patients in the Greater Atlanta area, and has a diverse background that includes serving as an Athletic Trainer for Life University, an Exercise Physiologist for Northside Hospital Atlanta and as a family nurse practitioner at a pediatric and family medicine practice in Austell, GA. Mr. Figueroa sees patients in Medical Associates of North Georgia’s walk-in clinic, and is a certified family medicine nurse practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
Mr. Figueroa is passionate about the outdoors, and in addition to being an expert bicyclist and all mountain skier, he is skilled in Wilderness Medicine and is a Fellow of the Academy of Wilderness Medicine.
